AVM Timor-Leste (AVM TL) is a locally established organisation backed by international expertise, committed to supporting Timor-Leste in realising its full potential through transformative education and vocational training. With deep experience in skills development and a strong understanding of global workforce demands, AVM TL is uniquely positioned to contribute meaningfully to the country’s socio-economic growth. By training the local workforce, facilitating overseas education and employment pathways, and building institutional capacity, AVM TL is proud to work in close collaboration with the government and key stakeholders to drive sustainable development.
As part of its Phase 1 initiative, AVM TL will launch a comprehensive strategy focused on four interconnected areas aimed at building national capacity and opening global opportunities. This includes the establishment of the International Centre for English and Professional Training (ICEPT), which delivers Spoken, General, Professional, and Academic English programs to improve communication skills, employability, and global readiness. It also includes strategic partnerships with foreign employment markets through migration-ready qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Ageing Support, designed to prepare local talent for international job opportunities.
Vision
AVM Timor Leste seeks to be the leading catalyst for skills, education and employment in Timor Leste and a key contributor to national remittances through meaningful overseas job placements. By offering international travel and tourism programs and other industry focused courses, we aim to strengthen local capacity and support a confident, globally competitive and ASEAN ready nation. Our vision is that young people and working adults across Timor Leste have access to quality training, meaningful employment and sustainable long term opportunities both at home and abroad.
Mission
AVM is on a clear mission, driven by our commitment to the integrated Triple E model of English Education Employment, which transforms learners into confident and job ready graduates. We deliver high quality English language training, internationally aligned vocational education and strong employment pathways so that Timorese citizens can access meaningful work opportunities in Timor Leste, Australia and the wider region. Through close collaboration with government, industry and community partners, we aim to build a skilled workforce, strengthen family incomes through overseas employment and remittances, and contribute to the long term social and economic development of Timor Leste.
