AVM Timor-Leste

About

AVM Timor-Leste is a locally established education and workforce organisation connecting international expertise with the needs and priorities of Timor-Leste.

Our work brings together English language, vocational education, professional development and employment pathways, with programs spanning areas including healthcare and aged care, hospitality and tourism, aviation, leadership and workplace skills. Alongside accredited education, we work with government, institutions and businesses to develop training shaped around specific workforce and organisational needs.

AVM TL’s approach is built around a simple principle: education should lead to a more rewarding life. Through our English, Education, Employment model, we connect learning with practical skills, workplace requirements and opportunities — within Timor-Leste and internationally.

Our growing network of local and international partnerships allows us to combine global education and industry experience with knowledge on the ground. From developing English and professional skills to delivering Australian qualifications and preparing people for emerging workforce opportunities, our role continues to evolve alongside Timor-Leste’s own priorities.

We see our role as a long-term one: working alongside Timor-Leste to develop skills, strengthen pathways and help connect its people with opportunity.

Vision

To create pathways through education and skills that connect the people of Timor-Leste with meaningful employment and opportunity — at home and internationally.

Mission

To deliver relevant, internationally aligned education and training that connects learning with opportunity.

Through our integrated focus on English, Education and Employment, AVM TL works with government, industry, institutions and communities to develop skills that respond to Timor-Leste’s priorities and the changing needs of the workplace.

We combine local understanding with Australian and international expertise to create practical pathways across vocational education, professional development and workforce preparation.
