Inauguration of
International Centre of English
We are ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก at the National University of Timor-Leste (UNTL) on March 18th, 2026.
We were honoured to welcome ๐๐๐ซ๐ค ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง, ๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก, who flew in from the UK to inaugurate the centre. Direct English is a world leader in CEFR-aligned English language learning programs and AVM TL is a Master Franchise of Direct English for Timor-Leste. ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ, ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฎ๐ฃ๐จ, also graced the occasion with his presence.
The ceremony was marked by speeches from the chief guest and presentations by the AVM TL team members. A highlight of the event was a charming dance performance by students from Batch II of our English Program.
